The Performance of the New Teams was Excellent:-
This season the performance of many new teams has been excellent, while the performance of some old teams is disappointing.

While Chennai Super Kings has won 1 out of 6 rivalries, Mumbai has played 6 matches so far but its account has not been opened.
Four-time winners CSK, who have been losing the competition in a row, got their first blow when Deepak Chahar was ruled out of the entire season due to a back injury. Now the franchise may face another setback.
Milne was injured in the first match:-
Adam Milne injury Update: The first match of the tournament was played between Chennai and KKR. Kiwi pacer Adam Milne, who was injured during the first match, maybe ruled out of IPL 2022.
Adam Milne’s injury nature scares CSK. Milne suffered a hamstring injury and is expected to take another two weeks to recover.
He persisted in CSK’s first match against KKR. He left the field bowling just 2.3 overs.
May Take Two Weeks
IPL 2022: Milne is recovering well but we don’t know when he will be fully fit, says a Chennai Super Kings official. This may take a week or two.
But it will depend on the progress of his recovery. At this point in time, we are hopeful that he will be able to make a comeback.
No One Can Be As Influential As a Lamp:-

Till now no one can be as influential as Deepak. His effectiveness in the powerplays is second to none and he used to bat and strengthen our lower order.
We don’t have any Indian option at the moment. We are waiting for Milne to recover and then make a decision soon.
In the absence of good fast bowlers, Chennai has suffered a lot in the powerplay and death overs.

A Death Over Bowlers Missed:-
On Sunday, however, CSK bowled well in the powerplay against Gujarat Titans and took three wickets. But in this match, he missed the death-over bowlers.
Rashid Khan and David Miller won the losing match easily. Gujarat needed 13 runs in the last over.
But the CSK bowlers gave away these runs easily. At the same time, Rashid Khan scored 25 runs in an over of Chris Jordan.
