IPL 2022: Chennai Super Kings coach Stephen Fleming made a big disclosure, also told the reason for leaving the captaincy of MS Dhoni, the 15th season of IPL has started.

Now CSK coach Stephen Fleming has made a big disclosure about leaving Dhoni’s captaincy.

No Sudden Decision:-

Stephen Fleming: Chennai Super Kings head coach Stephen Fleming has said that the decision to leave the captaincy of Mahendra Singh Dhoni was not taken suddenly. But it was discussing in the last session itself.

Fleming said that the decision on the timing of relinquishing the captaincy was left to Dhoni.

He said in a virtual press conference after the six-wicket loss to Kolkata Knight Riders in the first match of IPL 15, we have talked about it.

MS spoke to me about this at the last convention. The timing was his own decision.

It’s Time For Change:-

MS Dhoni: After four titles and five runners-up in twelve conventions, Dhoni on Thursday decided to hand over the captaincy of Chennai to Ravindra Jadeja.

Stephen said it was already deciding that Jadeja would be the captain if Dhoni left. It was informing (Srinivasan) through the team. “We respect that,” he said. This is a period of change.
