The Ashes, England path: England fast bowler Jofra Archer was on Tuesday ruled out of next month’s Ashes series against Australia due to a stress fracture in his right elbow. Now Archer has also joined the growing list of injured England bowlers, which has caused a big blow to the team.

Jofra Archer failed in MI :-

Archer, who was bought by Rohit Sharma’s Mumbai Indians (MI) for a whopping amount of 8 crores in the IPL auction, failed to make an impact in his first season in the team. The former Rajasthan Royals (RR) star has played only five matches in the 2023 season of IPL.

Pietersen gave a sharp statement: –

Suffering from multiple injuries, Archer was sidelined for 17 months before his return to international cricket in January 2023. Former cricketer Kevin Pietersen has issued a scathing statement regarding Archer’s injury amid IPL 2023.

The journey may end in English cricket: –

Pietersen said that the return of the stress fracture could end Archer’s career in English cricket. Pietersen wrote in his blog for Betway that I am very disappointed for Joffra. I think this injury will probably end his journey with English cricket.

Take time and then come back Jofra Archer :-

Pietersen further wrote that I know there are reports of a contract with a franchise. This would be the smartest thing ever for him. Archer will take six months to recover, choose a few tournaments to play and take it slow for a few months. They will make good money and have a career in sports right now.
