IPL 2022: Moeen Ali out of the first match, a statement from CSK regarding his visa, the first competition of the 15th season of IPL will be played between Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders (CSK vs KKR match).

Moeen Ali’s Visa Subject:-

Moeen Ali, who is including in the CSK team, has not been able to reach India yet. Only 3 days are leaving for the inaugural match of IPL 2022. But Moeen Ali’s visa issue is not getting resolved yet.

Now an official statement has come from CSK (Chennai Super Kings), according to which he has been ruled out of the first match.

Moeen Ali out of the first match:-

IPL 2022: The team issued an official statement quoting Chennai Super Kings CEO Kasi Viswanathan and said – Moeen Ali’s visa problem is not resolving yet. We are in touch with BCCI regarding this. BCCI is also working on this.

He (Moeen Ali) is ready there, as soon as his visa is ready, he will leave for India on the next flight.

IPL 2022: The Chennai Super Kings management is concerned about the continuing delay in the debut of England all-rounder Moeen Ali. Ali awaits the approval of his travel documents by the Indian High Commission in the UK.

IPL 2022: CSK’s Statement Regarding Moeen Ali’s Visa

Moeen (34) was retaining by the team of Chennai Super Kings for Rs 8 crore. He applied for his visa on 28 February. It has been more than 20 days since the application was submitting. He has been a frequent traveler of India and yet he has not received the travel papers.

CSK Playing XI for 1st Match: Devon Conway is likely to replace Moeen Ali in the CSK Playing XI. Conway will make his IPL debut.

Earlier other selections also remain a headache.

IPL 2022: Not only Moeen Ali but CSK also have other selections before the first match. CSK may miss out on three big players in their first game on March 26. CSK (Chennai Super Kings) will miss all-rounders Deepak Chahar, Moeen Ali, and Dwayne Pretorius in the first game.

IPL 2022: IPL’s defending champion Chennai Super Kings will miss another player in the opening matches. He is South African all-rounder Dwayne Pretorius.

Pretorius has been included in the squad for the ODI series against Bangladesh. He is expecting to be included in the squad after South Africa’s third ODI.

IPL 2022: Chennai Super Kings star opener Rituraj Gaikwad suffered a hand injury during the T20I series between India and Sri Lanka last month.

Recently he was undergoing rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru and Chennai Super Kings are awaiting a detailed report on his injury.
