DC opener Prithvi Shaw has been discharged from the hospital after being treated for typhoid.

Since then, Prithvi Shaw has returned to the hotel and is taking care of his health. Delhi Capitals gave this information on Sunday. The next match for Delhi Capitals will be against Punjab Kings on 16 May.

IPL 2022: 22-year-old opener Prithvi (DC Opener Prithvi Shaw) was hospitalized earlier this month due to a high fever.

The medical team is monitoring his condition of the Prithvi:-

Delhi Capitals opener Prithvi Shaw has been discharged from the hospital where he was treated for typhoid,” Delhi Capitals said in a statement. The medical team of the franchise is monitoring Prithvi’s condition.

IPL 2022: The franchise said, “Prithvi (DC Opener Prithvi Shaw) has returned to the team hotel where he is currently recovering and the medical team of Delhi Capitals are monitoring his condition.”

Prithvi played the last match for Delhi Capitals against Lucknow Super Giants on May 1 and since then he has not been able to play in three matches for the team.

He himself wrote on Instagram from the hospital:-

In his absence, the Delhi team failed to find a good opening partner for the in-form David Warner. Both Mandeep Singh and Sreekar Bharat failed at the top of the order.

In the current IPL season so far, Prithvi has scored 259 runs in nine matches at an average of 28.77 with a strike rate of 160.
