Shreyas Iyer Proves his Guiding Skills:-

KKR mentor David Hussey described skipper Shreyas Iyer as a skillful captain, and he has proved his leadership skills as captain of the Delhi Capitals.

Iyer, who took Delhi Capitals to the finals of IPL 2020, was bought by KKR in a mega auction last month for Rs 12.25 crore.

Hussey said during the Press Conference:-

David Hussey said during the virtual press conference on Wednesday, “Shreyas Iyer is a born leader.

He is a very respected player. I know Pat (Cummins) very well. He will prove to be a good vice-captain and he will guide even further.”

IPL 2022: He (KKR Mentor David Hussey) said, “But the way Shreyas Iyer has captained Delhi in the past.

He has a very good understanding of cricket and knows how to play the game according to the circumstances. I think it is a good decision by Brendon (McCullum) and the KKR management to appoint him as the captain.

KKR’s first match against CSK:-

IPL 2022: Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will play their first match against Chennai Super Kings at the Wankhede Stadium on March 26.

This competition will be played from 7:30 pm. Kolkata had retained four players before the mega auction.
