IPL 2022: Lucknow Super Giants team was charged for slow over-rate for the second time, captain KL Rahul was fined 24 lakhs and all the players of the LSG team were fined 6-6.

Not only the captain but for the second time the entire team was fining for the offense of slow over-rate. A fine of Rs 6-6 lakh will be imposing on all the players of the team.

A release issued by the BCCI said – Lucknow Super Giants captain Lokesh Rahul will be deducting 24 lakhs due to slow over-rate and 6 lakhs or 25 percent of match fee on other players playing in the playing 11.

KL Rahul is in danger of being banning for one match:-

Lucknow Super Giants bowlers will have to try not to make such a mistake now, and finish the last over within the stipulated time.

If Rahul is charging with a slow over-rate in another match. He will be to pay 100% of the match fee as a fining. And face a one-match ban.

According to the rules of the ICC, an innings in T20 cricket i.e. The entire 20 overs should end in 1 hour and 25 minutes or less. If a bowling team takes more time than this, the captain is fining.

A Slow Over-Rate Penalty:-

For the first time, the captain of the bowling team is fining Rs 12 lakh.

For the second time, the captain is fining 24 lakhs. And the other 10 players (who were part of the playing 11) are fining Rs 6 lakhs. Or 25 percent of the match fee.

For the third time, this happens. The captain is fining 10 percent of the match fee and the captain is banning for one match. Players included in the playing 11 have to pay a fine of Rs 12 – 12 lakh. Or 50 percent of the match fee.
