The 74 Rivalries will be Playing this time:-
A total of 74 tournaments are to be holding in the current season of IPL. It consists of 70 league-round matches and 4 playoff matches. The BCCI has decided to hold league-round matches in Maharashtra.
The league-round matches will be playing at three stadiums in Mumbai and one in Pune. At the same time, on which ground the playoff competitions will be holding. It will not be deciding yet. According to media reports, this match can be held at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
- 55 IPL matches of the league stage will be playing in Mumbai and 15 will be played in Pune.
- Four stadiums will be identifing for the league.
- 20 tournaments will be playing at Wankhede, 15 at Brabourne Stadium, 20 at DY Patil Stadium and 15 at Pune.

IPL 2022 Format:-
- The 10 teams will be dividing into two groups. There will be five more teams in Group-A and five teams in Group-B.
- A team has to play at least 14 matches in the group round.
- You will get the opportunity to play twice against each other in your group.
- Two matches will have to be playing against anyone team of the other group.
- After this, one match each will have to be played against the remaining four teams of the second group.
