MI Lost while Defending a Target of 162:-

Defending a target of 178, Mumbai lost by 23 runs to MI in their second match against Rajasthan Royals while chasing a target of 194 runs. In their third match, MI lost while defending a target of 162.

In a crucial contest against RCB, MI scored a total of 151 runs and lost by a margin of 7 wickets as the Faf du Plessis-led side chased down the objective in 18.3 overs to win.
