IPL 2022: Ravindra Jadeja’s heart-wrenching reaction as captain, all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja was on Thursday named as the new captain of Chennai Super Kings ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2022) season.

Informing This by Issuing a Statement:-

The franchise issued a statement informing that Mahendra Singh Dhoni himself is leaving the captaincy.

Chennai Super Kings issued a statement saying that MS Dhoni has decided to hand over the captaincy of Chennai Super Kings and has picked Ravindra Jadeja to lead the team.

An Integral Part of Chennai Super Kings:-

Jadeja, who has been an integral part of Chennai Super Kings since 2012, will be the third player to lead CSK. Dhoni will be associated with Chennai Super Kings this season and beyond.

After this decision, Chennai Super Kings also shared Ravindra Jadeja’s reaction on their Twitter handle.

Jadeja said after becoming the captain, “Feels good but at the same time, Mahi Bhai has already established a huge legacy which I, therefore, look forward to carrying forward.
