Dinesh Karthik was the hero of the victory:-

This was the second consecutive victory of RCB, while Rajasthan lost for the first time in the season. The hero of this victory was Dinesh Karthik, who scored 44 not out and won the team and played the role of the best finisher.

Chasing a target of 170, RCB continued to lose wickets after a good start, but bounced back thanks to Karthik and Shahbaz, scoring 173 for six with five balls to spare. He stopped Rajasthan Royals from scoring a hat-trick of victory in the tournament.

A Partnered for the wicket of 67 runs in 33 balls:-

Experienced Dinesh Karthik (seven fours and a six in 23 balls) and Shahbaz Ahmed (four fours and three sixes in 26 balls) played responsibly and shared a 33-ball 67 for the sixth wicket.

For Rajasthan Royals, Yuzvendra Chahal did wonders with his leg-spin and put his team in a good position.

Apart from taking two wickets for 15 runs, he played an important role in the run out of Virat Kohli.

Losing the toss and opting to bat, Rajasthan Royals had a poor start. Yashasvi Jaiswal returned to the pavilion after scoring 4 runs as the first wicket.

Devdutt Padikal and Josh Butler then shared a 70-run partnership. Jos Buttler completed his fifty and batted till the last.

This is Butler’s half-century in the second consecutive match, in the match against Mumbai Indians played earlier, Butler had scored a half-century. Rajasthan Royals had set a target of 170 runs for RCB to win.
