Before the great match, former India captain Mohammad Azharuddin gave a piece of advice to the MI selectors.

He has urged Rohit Sharma-led Mumbai Indians to include Arjun Tendulkar in the playing XI for the match against CSK.

The former captain also gave important suggestions to Mumbai Indians regarding players like Tim David and Jasprit Bumrah.

Azharuddin said, ‘You have to try some new players as you can also give the opportunity to Arjun Tendulkar who is working very hard.

Maybe the Tendulkar surname on the field can change the fate of the team. If you have picked David at such a high cost and if he is not playing, then there is no use for him to be in the team.

If you have players, you can’t make them sit. It will also be an injustice to the player.

Five-time champion team Mumbai has not won a single match this season. With 6 losses, MI is at the 10th position in the points table.

He believes that putting too much pressure on fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah is not right for the team.

According to Azharuddin, Bumrah should open the bowling so that there are more chances of taking wickets in the powerplays.

Tendulkar Awaits IPL Debut:-

Arjun did not get a chance in playing XI even in the competition against Lucknow Super Giants. Tendulkar was bought by Mumbai Indians for Rs 30 lakh in the IPL 2022 auction.

Gujarat Titans also made a bid to buy Arjun with a base price of 20 lakhs. Arjun was also a part of Mumbai Indians in IPL 2021.
