IPL 2023: KKR captain Shreyas Iyer is not out of IPL yet. Doctors advised rest for 10 days. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) is waiting for the fitness of Shreyas Iyer.

Captain Indian Premier League IPL 2023:-

There is no indication whether their captain will be seen playing in the Indian Premier League IPL 2023 (IPL 2023).

Iyer has been asked to rest for the time being and Indian batsmen (KKR Squad 2023) are doing exactly the same, it is expected that Shreyas (Shreyas Iyer Injury) will be seen on the field soon.

Significantly, Iyer did not come to bat recently due to sudden back pain during the fourth Test against Australia in Ahmedabad.

After which he was taken to the hospital. And now the doctor has asked the player to rest for 10 days and all the cricket fans are waiting for it.

Because IPL is going to start from 31st March. If Shreyas doesn’t play in IPL then his fans will surely be disappointed. Shreyas hasn’t been officially ruled out of the IPL yet.

BCCI or KKR franchise:-

Shreyas’s first scan and reports say that Shreyas Iyer will not be able to play in IPL 2023, however, there is no official confirmation from BCCI or KKR franchise.

At the same time, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is about to issue a statement on the condition of Shreyas Iyer.

Kolkata Knight Riders are yet to name any replacement for their skipper Shreyas Iyer, however, they are reported to be preparing for any eventuality.

The players and officials of the franchise are expected to assemble at their home ground Kolkata in a few days’ time.
