Lucknow Super Giants captain Krunal Pandya has reacted after the match. He said that we were in a good position at one stage but when I played that shot everything went wrong, we should have played better cricket.
He misjudged his shot and blamed himself for the defeat. Pandya said that I am fully responsible for this.
Krunal Pandya further said that βthe ball was coming on the bat well, we just had to bat better. We didnβt play good cricket after that strategic break.
Why not feed Quinton de Kock?
Why didnβt Quinton de Kock get a place in the playing 11 in this important match? On this question, Krunal said that Quinton de Kock is a quality batsman.
But Meyer has a better record here, so we went ahead with him (in the playing XI). Their (MI) batsmen bat really well against fast bowlers, so I thought of opening against them with spin.
