The 16th season of the world’s largest cricket premier league IPL is going to start on 31st March.

According to the Indian Express report, during the 16th season of IPL, Suryakumar Yadav will take over the command of the team in place of Rohit Sharma in his absence.
The regular captain will be present in the dug out and help with team decisions. Under the direction of Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav will be seen captaining the team on the field.
Indian team to play World Test Championship final after IPL
Just nine days after the final of the Indian Premier League, the Indian team has to play against Australia in the final of the World Test Championship.
The match will take place at the Oval Stadium in London. This match will be played from June 7. And the final of IPL will be on 28th May.
Apart from the World Test Championship, the Asia Cup and the 50-over World Cup are also to be played this year. Keeping this in view, Rohit has taken this decision.
Mumbai Indians’ first match will be on 2nd April:-
The 16th season of the Indian Premier League 2023 (IPL 2023) will start on 31 March 2023. Its final will be played on 21 May.
The first match will be between defending champions Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings on March 31 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
