IPL 2023: The Franchisees Sought Clarification From BCCI Regarding Cameron Green

IPL 2023 Auction: After the statement of Andrew McDonald, the franchisees sought clarification from the BCCI regarding Cameron Green. The mini auction (IPL 2023 Auction) for the Indian Premier League 2023 is just a few days away.

All the franchisees have started their Preparations:-

All the franchisees of IPL (IPL 2023) have started their preparations. The teams have also given the list of their retained and released players.

At the same time, BCCI has given time till December 15 for the registration of players. Meanwhile, after the statement of Australian coach Andrew MacDonald, the franchisees have written a letter to the BCCI seeking clarification regarding Cameron Green.

A BCCI official told Sport, “Yes, we have received requests from several franchises regarding Cameron Green.

Coach Andrew McDonald’s Test match against West Indies:-

We are talking to the Australian board regarding Green, we will get updates on Green in any case by 15th December.

On the other hand, Australian coach Andrew McDonald said before the Test match against the West Indies that “He has to play a lot of cricket for the next few 12 months in cricket, is it a matter of concern?”

Green has to Play a Lot Of Cricket:-

Cameron has a lot of cricket to play before IPL and his decision is not clear yet. Also, we will get the track made before IPL”.

Following McDonald’s statement, the IPL franchise told Sport that “there should be clarity on the availability of any player.

It takes a lot of time to know any player before going to the auction and with that, we have to do a lot of planning.
