IPL 2023: The RCB Included Parnell And Vijaykumar in Replaces Of Topley-Rajat
IPL 2023: The RCB replaces Reece Topley-Rajat Patidar with Wayne Parnell and Vijaykumar Vaishak. Left-arm fast bowler Reece Topley has been ruled out of IPL (IPL 2023) due to shoulder injury.
Parnell is signed as Topley’s replacement:-
Now Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) has signed Wayne Parnell as Topley’s replacement.

The South African is likely to join the decorated franchise this week after going unsold at the mini-auction in December. At the same time, Vijaykumar Vaishak has been included in the team in place of Rajat Patidar.
He got hurt while fielding in the first match:-
Topley was bought by RCB for ₹1.9 crore but suffered a fielding injury in the first match against Mumbai Indians (MI) at the Chinnaswamy Stadium on 2 April.
Topley fell to block a boundary in the short fine leg region and hit his blind.
He did not bowl after the accident and reportedly returned to recuperate from the injury. Meanwhile, Parnell could be a good addition for the three-time RCB side.
Pune Warriors and Delhi Capitals in IPL:-
Who had also previously played for Pune Warriors and Delhi Capitals in the IPL. In 26 IPL games, the 33-year-old has picked up 26 wickets at an average of 26.96.
Parnell has so far played for South Africa in 56 T20Is, apart from 6 Tests and 73 ODIs, and has 59 T20I wickets to his name.

He joined RCB for INR 75 Lakhs. Vijay Kumar, replacing Patidar, represents Karnataka in domestic cricket and has played 14 T20s, taking 22 wickets, and joined RCB for INR 20 lakhs.
