IPL 2023: This Player Of Chennai Super Kings May Be Out For A Long Time. Deepak Chahar was badly injured during the match between Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians on Sunday and now he is doubtful to play 4-5 matches.

In the Indian Premier League 2023, a match was played between Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians on late Sunday night.

Chennai may have won this match but bad news has come out from the team’s camp. CSK fast bowler Deepak Chahar got injured during the match and he is doubtful for the next 4-5 matches.

Injured in the first over:-

Deepak Chahar was injured in his very first over in the Chennai vs Mumbai match played on Saturday night.

He felt a hamstring strain after the fifth ball and was immediately sent to the field by the physio.

After the treatment, he bowled one ball and then left the field. He could bowl only one over in this match.

Didn’t play in IPL of 2022 due to a hamstring:-

Deepak Chahar has been battling this injury for a long time. He was completely ruled out of last year’s IPL due to this.

Although later he played first-class cricket and made a comeback in IPL this year. But it didn’t last long and he got injured again.

Can be out for 4-5 matches

Ever since Deepak Chahar’s exit, it is being speculated that he will be out for a long time. At the same time, according to former team’s cricketer Suresh Raina, Chahar will not be able to play 5 matches.

Raina said during the commentary on Geo Cinema that- ‘It seems that he has got hamstring injury again. He is feeling uncomfortable.

The rest of the IPL venues are far away from Chennai. In such a situation, traveling becomes very much. Looks like Chahar is out of the team for the next 4 to 5 matches.

Deepak Chahar is a formidable bowler from Chennai. He made his debut in IPL in 2016. At the same time, Chahar has taken 59 wickets in 66 IPL matches.
