Jasprit Bumrah’s Team India Will Not Get The Support Of Coach in Ireland Series
IND vs IRE T20 Series 2023: Jasprit Bumrah’s team India will not get the support of the coach in the Ireland series. In the T20 series between India and Ireland starting on August 18, the Indian cricket team will play without any head coach.

Earlier, NCA Chief VVS Laxman was being considered as the coach of this series.

Indian team head coach Rahul Dravid and his staff have been given a break ahead of the Asia Cup. However, as per the latest reports, Laxman will not be accompanying the team to Ireland.
As per reports in Cricbuzz, Sitanshu Kotak and Sairaj Bahutule will join the Jasprit Bumrah-led team for the three-match IND vs IRE series in Dublin.
Kotak and Bahutule have previously served as VVS Laxman’s support staff on the New Zealand and Ireland tours.
A New Tradition Over The Years:-
However, it is still not known why Laxman will not be traveling with the team in Ireland. As far as Rahul Dravid and his staff are concerned, they will assemble at the NCA on August 24 after a break of a week.
Team India stars will have an Asia Cup camp at NCA from August 24 to 29. The team will leave for Sri Lanka on 30 August.
Over the years it has been a tradition that if the head coach is on break, the head of the NCA acts as the head coach. Rahul Dravid also did this during Ravi Shastri’s tenure as the NCA chief.
Teams will leave in different batches:-
Meanwhile, Team India will be traveling in two separate batches for the IND vs IRE series. The first batch will leave for Ireland from Mumbai on Tuesday.
The first batch will include captain Jasprit Bumrah and those who are not part of the IND vs WI team.
The second batch will fly directly from Florida to Dublin, the capital of Ireland. The second batch will include Sanju Samson, Tilak Verma, and Yashasvi Jaiswal among others who are part of that team.
