The controversial “Impact Player” rule introduced in this year’s IPL got a shoutout too. Shah says it’s a trial run, and they’re gathering feedback from players, franchises, and everyone involved.

“It seems to be making matches more exciting and giving more Indian players a shot,” he says. But Shah’s open to tweaking the rule if the feedback isn’t positive.
