After Australia and India, the West Indies is now launching its own Women’s T20 Cricket League – the Women’s Caribbean Premier League (WCPL). And guess who’s spicing things up? The league will see a bunch of talented Indian women cricketers in action. Though it’s currently a three-team affair, two of them are owned by IPL franchises – Barbados Royals Women, Guyana Amazon Warriors Women, and Trinbago Knight Riders Women.

Leading the Knight Riders’ charge is the explosive West Indian batter, Deandra Dottin. The team also boasts Australian superstars – Meg Lanning and Jess Jonassen.
