Josh Little: Ireland’s star fast bowler got injured before IPL 2023. There is not much time left for the start of IPL.
Big blow to Gujarat Titans:-
But even before the start of this league, the Gujarat Titans, captained by Hardik Pandya, have suffered a major setback.

Ireland’s star fast bowler Josh Little, bought by Gujarat Titans for Rs 4.4 crore during the IPL auction, has been injured and has been ruled out of Pakistan Super League 2023 (PSL 2023).
During the IPL auction held in December last year, Gujarat bought Little, who became the first Irish in the league.
He complained of hamstring tightness:-
The 23-year-old Little was to feature in the PSL for Multan Sultans. While playing for Pretoria Caps in the SA20s, he complained of hamstring tightness and has returned home “out of caution”, according to Cricket Ireland.
Notably, Little is targeting Ireland’s three-match ODI series in Bangladesh next month as a possible comeback.
He is expected to regain his fitness in time to fulfill his IPL contract. At the same time, the ODI series between Ireland and Bangladesh will start on 18 March.
Titans vs Chennai Super Kings in Ahmedabad:-
While the T20I series will go on till March 31, the IPL season will begin on the same day with Titans vs Chennai Super Kings in Ahmedabad.
IPL 2023: Josh made his international debut for Ireland in 2016 and since then, he has played 25 ODIs and 53 T20Is.
He made international headlines in May 2019 against England in Dublin.

He took 4-45 in a devastating spell of fast bowling, in which he dismissed three of the top four batsmen at the time, including captain Eoin Morgan, for ducks.
