Kohli reached the score of 99 by hitting his last ball for a four. He scored 113 runs in 87 balls. Kohli hit 12 fours and 1 six in this innings.

Virat was dismissed by Kasun Rajitha. Kohli was caught out on the second ball of the 49th over. On a good ball, Virat was caught out by the wicket-keeper.

In the ODI format, Virat Kohli scored his last century in India in 2019 against Australia. In that match held at the Jharkhand Cricket Association Stadium on March 8, Virat scored 123 runs.

Kohli had scored a century in the previous ODI as well. Since then Virat played 14 ODIs in India, but could not score a century. After 4 years, Virat Kohli ended the century drought in India.
