Former Sri Lanka captain Lasith Malinga was recently seen spending quality time with his daughter Ekeesha Separamadu at the cricket practice nets in Melbourne. He has also shared a video during this time. In which he is seen teaching his daughter the tricks of batting. Along with Nuwan Kulasekara and Prabhat Nissanka, Malinga is part of a bowling workshop called “The Triple Effect” organized by Melbourne Cricket Coaching in Melbourne. He was hired to coach youth players of different age groups in Australia.

Malinga – Retirement from ODI and Test format
Malinga had already retired from the ODI and the Test format of cricket. But continued to play in T20 Internationals in an effort to make the T20 World Cup roster. The 38-year-old then announced his retirement from the shortest format as well. He is now working with the Academy. To help young Australian bowlers reach their full potential. He will be coaching at the academy for a period of six weeks.
Best Yorker Bowler
There was a time when Malinga had the best of yorkers. Good batsmen used to get scared of his bowling. Also in his 310 limited-overs internationals, Lasith took a total of 445 wickets (including both ODIs and T20Is). The Sri Lankan is well known in the IPL, having led the Mumbai Indians bowling lineup for ten years. He featured in a total of 110 IPL games, taking 170 wickets.
