Turns out, his mom had a specific concern that gnawed at her. And guess what? Pant’s doctor just revealed it! Dr. Dinshaw Pardiwala, who treated Pant, shared that his biggest worry was whether his son would ever walk normally again.

Pant Had To Get Fit Soon:-

The doctor assured the family that they’d ensure Pant could walk without any limp, just like before. Pant’s injuries were severe, hence the lengthy recovery process.

Here’s the kicker: When the doctors told Pant it could take 18 months to fully recover, he wasn’t having it. He declared he couldn’t wait that long and wanted to be fit within 12 months!

Those 15 months to complete recovery weren’t easy. Pant’s knee injuries were a major concern, but the good news is, he’s completely healed and ready to smash boundaries again!

Unfortunately, the accident forced him to miss major tournaments like IPL 2023, Asia Cup, and the ODI World Cup.

But guess what? Pant has his eyes set on a stellar IPL 2024 performance, aiming to secure a spot in the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024.

Pant’s comeback is a massive boost for the Indian cricket team.
