Mark Wood said: I Am Very Sad That I Am Not Able To Play IPL This Year

Mark Wood said: I am very sad that I am not able to play IPL this year. He has said this by sharing a video on social media after the successful operation of his elbow.

Elbow Hurt During Test Series:-

Mark Wood suffered an elbow injury during the Test series against the West Indies, after which he had to undergo surgery midway through the first Test match.

Due to this injury of Mark Wood, Lucknow Supergiants also suffered a major setback in IPL 2022.

However, Lucknow has roped in Andrew Tye as a replacement for Mark Wood.

A Shared a Picture of himself From The Hospital:-

In a post, Wood shared a picture of himself from the hospital after the surgery. In this picture, the fast bowler looks very excited as he does not have much pain in his hand.

Mark Wood thanked Professor Roger van Ritt and Mr. Ali Noorani for not allowing him to experience much pain through the surgery.

I Am Not Able To Play IPL This Year:-

Mark also shared a video in which he is saying that I can still bowl fast. I am very sad that I am not able to play IPL this year I love Andy Flower.

Mark Wood was bought by Lucknow Supergiants in the mega auction for 7.50 crores, but he had to withdraw his name due to injury and he could not play the Test series against West Indies as well.
