Marnus Labushen was resting:-

In Test cricket, wearing pads and waiting for your batting becomes quite boring at times. In such a situation, the player also falls asleep.

At the same time, many players have a habit of sleeping before their innings so that they can calm their mind. The same is the case with Test’s number 1 batsman Marnus Labuschagne.

He prefers to rest to keep his mind calm before going out to bat and that is why he was seen lying in his chair with his eyes closed at the start of Australia’s innings.
