The Melbourne Stars have re-signed Tom O’Connell and Sam Elliott for the upcoming season of the Big Bash League (BBL).
Participated in the tournament for Stars Academy:-
O’Connell has been associated with the Stars since 2018 and has risen up the ranks of Victorian cricket with his all-round performances.

He recently participated in the Top End T20 tournament in Darwin for Stars Academy, making it to the finals of the competition.
In his eight-match BBL career, the leg-spinner has taken five wickets since making his debut in the 2018–19 edition.
Elliott is an out-and-out fast bowler who made his BBL debut for the Stars last season. However, he went without a wicket in both matches. The 23-year-old Victoria has featured in 3 List-A appearances for the second XI.

The Stars made their BBL 12 debut against Sydney Thunder on 13 December.
