Pakistan Cricket Head Coach: Mickey Arthur- World’s first online coaching will be given to Pakistan team through video call. The Pakistan cricket team has often become a laughing stock for its on-field play and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for its decisions outside the field.

Although there is no official announcement by the board yet, but according to Pakistan media, PCB has agreed to appoint Arthur as Pakistan Head Coach Mickey Arthur.

The PCB was on the lookout for a new coach for the last several days to replace Saqlain Mushtaq, the head coach of Pakistan. The Pakistan board had approached Mickey Arthur for this.

Arthur is currently the head coach of Derbyshire:-

Mickey Arthur is currently the head coach of Derbyshire and will remain until 2025. After which now the news is coming that PCB will take Mickey’s services online and he will train the players online.

According to Bolnews Pakistan, after several requests from the PCB, Arthur has finally agreed to become the coach of the Pakistan team.

Earlier, Arthur had refused to do coaching. According to Pakistani media, Arthur may not be available for marquee tournaments like Asia Cup 2023.

He has promised to be on the field for the 2023 World Cup in India. His contract will run till the ODI World Cup in October.

If this happens, it will be the first time in the world of international cricket that a team will take online coaching from its head coach.

Najam Sethi had said in a statement last week itself, “I am personally in talks with Mickey and we have resolved 90 percent of the issues.

We have also discussed with Derbyshire a proposal to act as a consultant to the PCB on a time-sharing basis. But unfortunately, this option is proving difficult to materialize for various reasons on both sides.
