MLC 2023: Ambati Rayudu ruled out of Major League Cricket tournament. Former CSK cricketer Ambati Rayudu, who recently retired from the Indian Premier League, has pulled out of the first season of the Major Premier League to be played in the USA.

He ropped out due to personal reasons

Rayudu had tied up with the Texas Super Kings in the tournament. But now he has decided to opt out due to personal reasons.

Ambati Rayudu played the last match of the 2023 final in the IPL. He played a key role in CSK’s victory with a brilliant 19 off just eight balls.

There is no official statement behind why Ambati Rayudu is getting out of the Major League. However, according to media reports, Rayudu has expressed his desire to join politics.

According to several reports, he is expected to join Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Jagan Mohan Reddy’s YSRCP party and is planning to contest the 2024 elections. In such a situation, this could be the reason behind his exit.

BCCI is Making A Policy For Retired Players:-

The news of Rayudu opting out of MLC season one comes at a time when BCCI secretary Jay Shah has indicated the board’s view on the policy regarding participation of retired Indian cricketers in foreign leagues.
