Moeen Ali returns to England squad after two years of retirement. England Cricket Team’s senior all-rounder player Moeen Ali has returned to the Test.
Ali was included in England’s squad for Ashes
Ali has been included in the England squad for the famous Test series Ashes (Ashes Series 2023) to be played between England and Australia.

He took retirement from this long format of cricket in 2021 (Moeen Ali Test Retirement).
Moeen Ali has been included in England’s squad for the opening 2 Tests of the Ashes. He has been included in the squad after the ouster of Jack Leach.
Jack Leach was included in the earlier announced squad, but he was dropped. Ali has now joined in his place.
England will reach Birmingham on 12 June, beginning practice at Edgbaston on 13 June. The first Test will begin on Friday, 16 June.
