Mohammad Rizwan Created History, By Defeating Virat Kohli And Babar Azam! Pakistan’s wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan has etched his name in the history books by setting a new world record in T20I cricket.
Rizwan Became The Fastest Batsman To Reach 3000 Runs:-
Rizwan became the fastest batsman to reach 3000 runs in the shortest format of the game during the second T20I against New Zealand on Saturday.

The 31-year-old played a match-winning unbeaten knock of 45 runs off just 34 balls, including four fours and one six, at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. Pakistan’s victory by seven wickets gave them a 1-0 lead in the five-match T20I series.
Rizwan reached the landmark in his 79th T20I innings, surpassing his compatriot Babar Azam and India’s Virat Kohli by two innings each. Both Babar and Kohli had reached the 3000-run mark in their 81st innings.
Virat Kohli Remains The Highest Run-Scorer in The Format:-
Rizwan became the eighth batsman to breach the 3000-run barrier in T20I cricket. However, Virat Kohli remains the highest run-scorer in the format, having amassed 4037 runs in 117 matches.
Pakistan’s win on Saturday was a comprehensive one as they chased down New Zealand’s target of 91 runs with seven wickets and 47 balls to spare. New Zealand were bowled out for 90 runs in 18.1 overs, with Hasan Ali taking three wickets for just 12 runs.
The third T20I of the series will be played on Sunday at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
