Siraj revealed that at 18, he used to earn just 100-200 rupees. This wasn’t easy money – working in a catering service even left him with burns. “My family wanted me to study,” he shared, “but rent and bills had to be paid. My dad was the sole earner, so I started working.”

Sacrifice and Struggle:
Siraj continued, “I didn’t have many skills back then. But even 100-200 rupees made me happy. I’d give 150 at home and keep 50 for myself.” His voice cracks with emotion as he remembers, “My hands got burnt flipping rumali rotis. That’s how we grew up, not with ease, but through struggle.”
From Struggles To Stardom:–
Today, Siraj is a force to be reckoned with. He’s a regular in the Indian team, having played 27 Tests, 41 ODIs, and 10 T20 Internationals. He even reached the pinnacle of becoming the number 1 ranked ODI bowler!
