Hirani is planning to do this film in 2019. Rajkumar Hirani had two films, one Danki and the other a biopic of Lala Amarnath.

He offered the film to Shahrukh Khan, in which Shahrukh chose Danki and it was decided to delay the biopic of Lala Amarnath.

Indian Cricketer Biopic: Right now Rajkumar Hirani is busy shooting for the film Danki, but after the completion of its shooting, he will start working on the biopic of Lala Amarnath.

The writing team for the script of the film:-

According to media reports, he has given the deadline for the script of the film to the writing team till the end of this year.

Rajkumar Hirani is very emotional about Amarnath’s biopic. The film will be produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar’s production house.

Lala Amarnath was born on 11 September 1911 in Kapurthala, Punjab. Lala Amarnath’s name is Nanik Amarnath Bharadwaj.

Hirani played domestic cricket for teams like Uttar Pradesh, Southern Punjab, Railways, Gujarat etc. He made his international debut on 15 December 1933.

Amarnath played his last Test match on 12 December 1952. Lala Amarnath died at the age of 88 (August 5, 2000).

Cricket career of Lala Amarnath:-

Between 1933 and 1952, Lala Amarnath played 24 international Test matches. In this he scored 878 runs. In International, Lala scored 4 fifties and 1 century.

Veteran cricketer Amarnath also took 45 international wickets. Apart from this, Lala Amarnath scored 10426 runs in 186 first-class matches and took 463 wickets.
