Most T20 Wins as Captain India: Harmanpreet Kaur Surpasses MS Dhoni To Become No. 1, Indian women’s cricket team won their first match at the Birmingham Commonwealth Games 2022.

Harmanpreet overtook MS Dhoni with this win:-

In the match played on Sunday, the team defeated Pakistan. As captain, Harmanpreet Kaur has overtaken MS Dhoni with this win.

A cricket match was played between India and Pakistan on Sunday. India had earlier played its Commonwealth Games debut match against Australia.

In which the team had to face defeat. India won a unilateral victory against Pakistan. Batting first, Pakistan was all out for 99 runs.

Thanks to the sharp innings of India’s opener batsman Smriti Mandhana, the team achieved the target with 38 balls to spare and registered a resounding victory by 8 wickets.

As captain, Harmanpreet achieved the 41st victory in T20, and with this, he has also left behind the legendary captain of the men’s team MS Dhoni.

MS Dhoni, who led India to T20 and 50-over World Cup wins under his captaincy, is counted among the most successful captains.

On Sunday, Harmanpreet surpassed him in terms of a record as captain. Dhoni has won 41 matches as captain in T20.

Harmanpreet Kaur has won 42 T20 matches as a captain and has surpassed MS Dhoni. Kaur is currently playing cricket and these numbers will only increase while Dhoni has now retired from international cricket.
