This year, they have a special addition to the coaching staff – Sri Lankan legend Lasith Malinga is now their bowling coach! Recently, a hilarious video featuring Malinga and Ishan Kishan surfaced online.

The video shows Ishan sporting a fake wig mimicking Malinga’s signature hairstyle. He then proceeds to copy Malinga’s unique bowling action, leaving the former pacer in splits. This clip has gone viral on social media, with fans loving the fun camaraderie.
He has amassed 2324 runs in 91 matches, including 15 fifties. His highest score is 99, and his best season came in 2020 where he smashed 516 runs in just 14 matches.
Mumbai Indians kick off their IPL 2024 campaign against Gujarat Titans on March 24th. Their next matches are against Sunrisers Hyderabad, Rajasthan Royals, and Delhi Capitals.
