Significantly, before the second Test, Australia’s experienced off-spinner Nathan Lyon revealed that his wife has become angry because of R Ashwin.

Before coming to India, Lion was preparing fiercely for this Test series by watching video footage of the Indian team’s star bowler Ravichandran Ashwin.

He wanted to see Ashwin’s bowling variations from his video footage to see how the Indian spinner brings variations to his bowling. So that he can also trouble the host batter on the tour of India.

Nathan Lyon said during a conversation on Star Sports, ‘I am not saying anything against Ashwin. I think Ashwin doesn’t need to prove himself as his records are so good that they speak for themselves.

To be honest, I am a completely different bowler than Ashwin. If you ask me, did I watch Ashwin’s videos before coming to India? The answer to this question will be yes.
