Most Sixes in T20I Innings: New Zealand Opener Finn Allen Equals The World Record, hitting 16 sixes in an innings. Allen played a historic innings in the third T20 against Pakistan.

The Combined Innings Of A T20 Match:-

Allen hit 16 sixes in his explosive innings of 137 runs, which is jointly the most number of sixes hit by a player in an innings of a T20 match.

He is accompanied by Afghanistan’s Hazratullah Zazai, who hit 16 sixes in a T20 match against Ireland in 2019.

Pakistan Won The Toss And Decided To Bowl First:-

In the third T20, Pakistan won the toss and decided to bowl first. Dwayne Conway was out early after scoring 7 runs.

But the second opener Finn Allen started his explosive innings from there and defeated every bowler in Pakistan. New Zealand scored 224 runs in 20 overs.

Finn Allen played a record innings of 137 runs in 62 balls at a strike rate of over 220. In this innings, Finn Allen hit 5 fours and 16 sixes.

Zazai Had Hit 16 Sixes in A T20 International Match:-

Earlier, Afghan player Hazratullah Zazai had hit 16 sixes in a T20 International match, which was the most by any player.

Now Finn Allen has jointly become the batsman to hit the most number of sixes in a T20 International match.

This is the highest score by a New Zealand batsman in a T20 match, earlier this record was held by Brendon McCullum who scored 123 runs against Bangladesh in 2012.
