New Zealand’s Henry Nicholls Suffers Calf Injury During Training Ahead of England Tour

New Zealand batsman Henry Nicholls suffered a calf injury during training ahead of his tour of England, leaving the team worried about his participation in the crucial 3-match Test series.

The Confirmation after the end of the practice session:-

NZ head coach Gary Stead confirmed after the conclusion of the day’s practice session that Nichols was practicing with fellow teammates when he suffered a right calf injury.

After the completion of the pre-tour camp. The Kiwis will leave for their tour in two groups on Saturday and Sunday. The first Test will be played on June 2 at Lord’s followed by matches at Trent Bridge and Headingley.

Ahead of the series, New Zealand will play a 4-day warm-up match against Sussex from next Friday (20 May). Before playing against a first-class county selection XI from 26-29 May.
