ODI World Cup Qualifier: The Scotland announce squad for Zimbabwe. The World Cup qualifiers Scotland has recalled fast bowlers Alasdair Evans and Adrian Neill from the squad for the World Cup qualifiers in Zimbabwe.
Last week, Evans signed a professional contract with Cricket Scotland for the 2023-2024 season.
Now he is ready to play his first ODI after October 2021. And Adrian Neill will return after a year.

Richie Berrington will captain:-
These are the two changes made by the team that lifted the Cricket World Cup League 2 trophy in February. Both players replaced Liam Naylor and Kyle Coetzer, who retired from international cricket in March.
The 15-member squad will be captained by Richie Berrington. Alasdair Evans, 34, is a fast bowler from Scotland. He has taken 57 wickets in 41 ODIs at an economy of 5.23 and an average of 28.84.
Young talents like Jack Jarvis and Chris McBride:-
According to a Cricket Scotland release, a number of players with county contracts were considered for selection, but were unavailable due to domestic cricket in the early part of the summer.
Scotlandโs interim head coach Doug Watson said โ I think there is a good mix of youth and senior players in this squad.
There are exciting young talents in the likes of Richie Berrington and George Munsey as well as Jack Jarvis and Chris McBride. Watson has a new backroom staff for the tournament.
Graeme Beighin and Glenn Pocknall will act as assistant coaches, with Gavin Cross joining the tour as physiotherapist.
The team will leave on June 3:-
The team will fly to Pretoria in South Africa on Saturday, June 3, for pre-tournament practice. They will also play two warm-up matches against Nepal and Netherlands before leaving for Zimbabwe.
Scotland will be among 10 teams fighting for two qualifier spots in the ODI World Cup to be held in India later this year.
Apart from the hosts Zimbabwe, the eight other countries are West Indies, Sri Lanka, Ireland, Netherlands, Oman, Nepal, USA and UAE.
