Pakistan Announces Interim Head Coach For New Zealand Series

Pakistan announces interim head coach for New Zealand series. PCB has announced its coaching staff for the upcoming limited-overs series against New Zealand at home.

The Matches T20I and five-match ODI series:-

Babar Azam’s men will contest a five-match T20I and five-match ODI series against the Black Caps, starting April 14 in Lahore.

The series will see a host of experienced Pakistani stars including veteran fast bowler Shaheen Afridi return to action.

The board also confirmed the appointment of Grant Bradburn as the side’s head coach, in an interim capacity. Abdul Rahman has been named as the assistant head coach,

Appointed as batting and bowling coach:-

While Andrew Puttick and Umar Gul have been appointed as the batting and bowling coaches respectively.

The appointments are not in a permanent capacity, with the PCB announcing that the board will name permanent coaches after the series against New Zealand.

“Mr. Bradburn and Mr. Puttick have been deputed for the New Zealand series and will arrive in Lahore on 11 April,” the statement read.

The PCB will confirm the Pakistan team management for the subsequent New Zealand series after the completion of the relevant recruitment processes, which are currently underway.”

• 14 April – 1st T20 International, Lahore
• 15 April – 2nd T20 International, Lahore
• 17 April – 3rd T20 International, Lahore
• 20 April – 4th T20I, Rawalpindi
• 24 April – 5th T20 International, Rawalpindi
• April 27 – 1st ODI, Rawalpindi
• April 29 – 2nd ODI, Rawalpindi
• May 3 – 3rd ODI, Karachi
