PSL 2024: Pakistan legend out of the match after Wasim Junior’s throw hits his head. A strange accident occurred during the Pakistan Super League 2024 match between Multan Sultans and Quetta Gladiators on Sunday.
This Incident Happened in The Last Over Of The First Innings:-
Mohammad Wasim Junior’s celebratory throw hit Sarfaraz Ahmed’s head. The incident occurred in the final over of the first innings, when Reeza Hendricks skied a ball from Mohammad Amir and was caught by Wasim at deep midwicket.

Wasim, who was jubilant after taking the catch, threw the ball high in the air which hit Sarfaraz standing behind the stumps.
Sarfaraz was Taken Out Of The Field:-
The ball came down and hit Sarfaraz’s head. The on-field umpires immediately stopped the game and a physio was called. Sarfaraz was taken off the field and his concussion test was done. Later he was dropped from the match and Sajjad Ali was given a chance in his place.
After this incident, there was concern in the cricket world and fans and experts wished for the speedy recovery of Sarfaraz.
Talking about the match, the Gladiators had to face their first defeat in the tournament. Chasing 181 runs, Quetta Gladiators were all out at 167/9 in 20 overs.
