Warner bid farewell to Test cricket with a memorable performance at his home ground SCG. Born on 27 October 1986 in Paddington, Australia, Warner had an illustrious Test career spanning 112 matches, where he scored 8,786 runs at an average of 44.60, including 26 centuries and 37 half-centuries.

What made him different was his explosive style, his strike rate in Test cricket was more than 70 and he was also famous for his exceptional slip fielding along with taking 91 catches.
