Vitality T20 Blast 2023: Pakistan all-rounder Shadab Khan signs up to play for Sussex in this year’s Vitality T20 Blast.

As first reported by ESPNcricinfo, Sussex is working to land a number of overseas signings.
Which Shadab is expected to be available for the duration of the blast. Sussex will be the 24-year-old’s second county, having turned out for Yorkshire in the competition last summer.
He could be joining at Hove by Sean Abbott, with the club also eyeing a short-term Championship deal for Steven Smith.
Shadab will Provide an amazing experience in the middle order:-
Sussex bowling coach James Kirtley said, “Shadab will bring an amazing amount of experience to our middle order, he is someone who has played all over the world and experienced a range of conditions, which can only benefit our team.”
Shadab’s leg-spin has helped him take 258 wickets in 225 T20 matches – 98 of 84 for his country – and a prominent role in the franchise league circuit.
He captains Islamabad United in the Pakistan Super League and has also appeared in the Big Bash, Caribbean Premier League, and Bangladesh Premier League.
His signing is setting to end Rashid Khan’s association with Sussex, which extends until 2018.
Afghanistan’s T20 captain was made:-
Rashid was recently naming Afghanistan’s T20 captain, and his participation in the series against Bangladesh and Zimbabwe would impact his availability.
Shadab said: “I’ve loved playing in England. I know Mushtaq Ahmed is a legend at Sussex, and it’s an honor to follow in his footsteps.
