Pakistan’s Shahid Afridi Launches Mega Star League For Old Players
Former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi has announced the launch of Mega Star League (MSL), a new league that will feature former international cricketers from the country and other countries.
This Year Played in the PSL 2022 Edition:-
The 42-year-old Afridi now last played this year in the 2022 edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) and he had already said that this would be his last participation in the PSL as well.

The legendary all-rounder has been a great servant to the country having played 27 Tests, 398 ODIs, and 99 T20Is for Pakistan.
He was regarding as a T20 legend, especially. With his ability to hit sixes straight after coming to the wicket with economical spell bowling.
He is a brilliant fielder and has led Pakistan to many victories across all formats.
The Former Great Players of the Game will Join:-
MSL will feature former greats of the game like Mushtaq Ahmed. Inzamam-ul-Haq and Waqar Younis will attract a lot of fans across the globe.
Afridi mentioned that the tournament was starting to ensure that former cricketers, were athletes. And journalists are supporting it financially and adding that it will take place in Rawalpindi in September this year.
He also revealing some of the big names who would be participating in the tournament. And felt that PSL was a good fit for the youngsters.
He added that the tournament will involve six teams including foreigners in the setup.
It is to be Played in September this Year in Rawalpindi:-
“The Mega Star League is a recreational league which is scheduling to be played in September this year in Rawalpindi.
The basic idea behind starting. This league is financially supportive. Former cricketers, athletes, and sports journalists.” Afridi was quoting as saying by Cricket Pakistan in the press conference.

“MSL will have six teams, and foreign players will also take part in the upcoming league.
PSL is for the youth and I am not young enough now. Me, Mushtaq Ahmed, Inzamam-ul-Haq and Waqar Younis will play in MSL.
