World Cup 2023: Pakistan’s tantrums are not decreasing regarding World Cup matches. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has requested a swap of venue for its matches against Afghanistan and Australia in the upcoming 2023 World Cup to be held in India in October-November.

Their match against Australia is to be held in Bangalore:-

As per a draft, Pakistan is to face Afghanistan in Chennai while their match against Australia is to be held in Bangalore.

While the ODI World Cup schedule is yet to be announced, PCB analysts have proposed a swap of venues, Cricket Pakistan said on Saturday (June 17).

As per reports, PCB analysts studied the data for Babar Azam’s side in this mega tournament.

Requested to shift the match to Bengaluru:-

As a result, the Najam Sethi-led board requested to shift their match against Australia to Chennai and their match against Afghanistan to Bengaluru.

The report also claimed that some PCB officials feel that India has deliberately scheduled matches at such venues.

Where Pakistan may face difficulties is with pitch conditions, practice facilities, and travel arrangements.

Pushing for India vs Pakistan World Cup match:-

Meanwhile, the International Cricket Council (ICC) is pushing for India vs Pakistan World Cup match to be held in Ahmedabad.

Earlier, it was reported that the PCB does not want Pakistan’s World Cup games to be played in Ahmedabad unless. It is a knock-out match like the final.
