The First Test is to be held on March 4:-

The first Test match between India and Sri Lanka (IND vs SL 1st Test) at the PCA IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali from March 4 will be playing in the absence of spectators, which will be Kohli’s 100th Test match.

This information will be giving by Deepak Sharma. CEO of Punjab Cricket Association. A 2 test match series is to be playing between India and Sri Lanka. This series is part of the World Test Championship.

The 100th Test Match will be playing under:-

The second match of the series will be playing at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. This pink-ball test match will be playing from March 12 to 16. This will be the third day-night Test in India.

Kohli will play his 100th Test match under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma. Rohit will lead the Indian team for the first time in Test matches.

Former captain Kohli has so far scored 7962 runs in 99 Test matches at an average of 50.39. He has 27 Test centuries and 28 half-centuries to his name. His highest score in Tests is 254 runs.

Did not Play in The Second Test:-

Kohli had stepped down from the captaincy of the national team in a long format after the final Test against South Africa earlier this year.

The third and last Test match of this 3-match series would have been the 100th Test of Kohli’s career but he withdrew his name from the second Test due to fitness reasons.

Kohli’s fans were hopeful that the BCCI and the Punjab government would pay for the audience’s entry in the former captain’s 100th Test match after the country’s rapid decline in the subject of Corona.
