Indian Right-arm fast bowler Prasidh Krishna recovered from Covid will join the team India on 23 May
Prasidh Krishna Indian fast bowler has beaten Coronavirus and he is all right now. Krishna is currently at his home in Bangalore and may join the Indian team in Mumbai on 23 May.
Prasidh Krishna has been selected in the standby players of England tour. Apart from him, Avesh Khan and Arzan Nagwaswalla are also in standby, and batsman Abhimanyu Easwaran also standby player.
A source familiar with the development told IANS, “Prasidh Krishna has recovered from Covid-19, currently at his home in Bengaluru and will join the Team India on 23 May in Mumbai.”
In the Indian Premier League 2021, Prasidh Krishna was part of the Kolkata Knight Riders team and was one of the 4 players who were hit by the Covid-19. Apart from Prasidh Krishna, Varun Chakravarthy, Sandeep Warrier and New Zealand’s Tim Seifert were hit by the epidemic after which the league was postponed indefinitely.These three players have also recovered with Seifert returning to New Zealand.
The right-arm fast bowler made his debut in international cricket during the ODI series against England in March and took six wickets in three matches.
India’s men’s and women’s teams are expected to leave for Mumbai to England in a charter flight on 2 June.
