Prithvi Shaw has been one of the most unlucky cricketers in the Indian domestic circuit despite scoring runs consistently across all three formats. His remarkable marathon innings of 379 in the Ranji Trophy finally forced the selectors to take notice. And later he was selected for the T20 squad for the New Zealand series.

Never been able to score consecutive runs in the T20I team

Shaw said, β€œI try to stay as calm as possible

Speaking on video shared by BCCI.tv, Shaw said, β€œI try to stay as calm as possible and just try to work on myself and get the process and routine right. I think That it’s the little things that make you perfect, no.” True indeed but people say if your process is right then 2-3 matches may not go according to your plans but eventually you will score runs and get success.”

β€œI played five Test matches and was out for a while. I had some technical issues because everyone was talking and I felt the same way so I went back again. Earlier I didn’t bat that much, I Used to bat for 40 runs – 45 minutes and that’s it, I used to get out of the nets. After that I started batting in the nets, like a few hours with my coach in Mumbai, perfecting my technique,” Shaw said
