Showing aggression, Amir threw the ball towards the captain of the opposition team, Babar Azam. After this there was a ruckus, Shahid Afridi, Wasim Akram and Babar Azam himself gave statements on this.

While Babar Azam said that the cricketer should not behave like this on the field, Shahid Afridi also scolded Amir.

Karachi Kings team director Wasim Akram supported Amir’s aggression. Now Aamir himself has put his side on the whole matter.

Recently in an interview with a local media news channel, Mohammad Amir said that rivalry between two players is necessary as it keeps the fans engaged in the tournament.

He said a bowler needs aggression to give his best against the best batsman in the world, which creates a competitive environment in the game.

Amir said on the rivalry against Babar Azam- “It is necessary. You want to give your best against the best batsman in the world. The batsman vs bowler rivalry in franchise cricket is what keeps fans hooked to the tournament.

Bowling To Babar Azam Or Tail Batsman is The Same:-

Earlier, Karachi Kings fast bowler Aamir made a shocking statement saying that bowling to Babar Azam or the tail-ender is the same for him.

Talking to a local channel, Amir had said that his job is to take wickets, irrespective of the batsman at the crease.

Amir said- “These types of matchups and rivalry of the players keep the players on their toes. I personally like challenges like this as it keeps me focused.”
